Ernie's Shopping Cart Specialties started as Portable Steam Cleaning in 1952.

In 1977 my Parents Ernie Sr. and Patricia started a new company that was centered around the steam cleaning and repair of shopping carts and less with the steam cleaning of construction machinery and restaurant equipment.

I came into the business in 1990. We still steam clean and repair shopping carts for a large customer base but now we also manufacture shopping cart corrals and stocking carts.

In 2006 we were introduced to the Versacart shopping cart manufacturer and started selling their product.

Ernie's Shopping Cart Specialties can offer a retailer a large selection of new shopping carts, stocking carts, cart corrals, hand baskets and electric shopping carts.

​We are located in the small town of Bates City, Missouri. We are a short distance east of the Kansas City area.
